App Review: ScratchMMS
ScratchMMS is a freeware utility application for the Nokia N97 and other S60v5 devices provided by bitsforfree.eu.
Features
The application lets you draw and write on the touch screen and send the result as an MMS. The result can be saved and re-opened, and it can also be converted into an image which can be sent directly from within the program as an MMS.
Will it make me use my stylus all the time?
I seriously doubt it! While the MMS functionality is good, writing or drawing on the touch screen is just hard. Also, the program has a few design mistakes and shortcomings. For some reason, only landscape mode is supported. This would maybe make sense if text input from the keyboard was supported, but it’s not. On the other hand, the program switches automatically to portrait mode when sending, opening or saving which is annoying.
The program is listed as beta, and it’s in no way unusable, but I still find it hard to recommend it.

Overall, a nice idea but not that well implemented in version 1.0. To find out more and to download, visit our forum:
