Game Review: BlockGO Lite
BlockGo Lite is a freeware puzzle game for the N97 and other S60v5 devices provided by Frienzplay.
Features
The goal of the game is to clear the blocks in the way so that the red block can be moved out through the exit. The game features 20 levels. More levels (99 to be exact) and more gameplay is available in the full version of the game. The game features a touch interface and lets you move the blocks around with your fingers.
Is it an unblocking experience?
I think so! Solving each level requires some thinking and strategy, but it’s nicely balanced with the cartoonish graphics and an overall light feeling. It’s definitely enjoyable, although the 20 levels won’t last forever and most of them are also a bit on the easy side. The last few levels do pose more of a challenge though. Maybe the added levels in the full version continue in that track?
The response of the touch interface isn’t perfect, but good enough. It’s also worth mentioning that there’s an option to select which level you want to play. After getting the hang of it, jump straight to the last level and go backwards is my advice!
