Game Review: Fifteen Touch
Fifteen Touch is a free puzzle game for the N97 and S60v5 platform provided by Offscreen Technologies.
Features
The objective is to put 15 numbers in order from upper left to lower right. Since there are 16 positions, there’s always one position free which allows for moving the numbers around. The game keeps track both of how long the player uses to complete the puzzle and how many moves it takes.
Does it last longer than fifteen minutes?
Not really. After some training you will be able to complete a round in a few minutes. Since the game saves your previous high score, you can always challenge yourself or a friend to complete a new round in less time and/or with fewer moves. I doubt though that many players will want to play more than a round or two at a time, though. Since there is only really one level and one objective, gameplay won’t last forever, but that is no big negative. This is a perfect game for picking up for 5 minutes every now and then.
The game requires some serious thinking, and it’s hard! After some training some general strategy can be applied, but heavy concentration is definitely needed to become really good.
The user interface is worth a separate mentioning. It’s fast and smooth and it’s a sheer joy to move the numbers around on the screen. Super!
