One of the applications I use the most is called Mobbler. For those who are not familiar with the application, Mobbler for Nokia N97 is an internet based application that allows you to stream music on your Nokia phone. A quick search of your favorite artist and Mobbler will start streaming songs plus music from similar artists. In case you are interested in having this app on your Nokia phone, you will need to sign up for an account from the Last FM after that head over to http://code.google.com/p/mobbler/downloads/list.

It can be used over 3G speeds but it works best over WI-FI.

1-      You can now set an alarm if you want to wake up listening to your favorite songs on the Nokia N97. There is an option if you want to adjust the volume.

2-      You can set an alarm for when you want the application to stop streaming if you are about to take a nap. As you can see from the pictures  on the gallery below, you can choose from 1 minute to 999 minutes.  Just remember your battery life; I would suggest leaving the phone charging if you plan to leave it on for more than an hour.

3-      If you are like me and English is not your first language, there is a chance that your language might now be included. If it happens to have already this app installed, then you will need to remove it first, and then install it again  on the Nokia N97 with your language of choice.  Don’t expect the best of translations, but it’s a start and it won’t be too late until they release another version with a much better translation.
