N97 Release date according to other blogs.
As promised, I’ve been looking through several blogs using Google search and my news feeds and I found on the Mobile Phone Blog that the release date is on Q2 2009 which could be April, May or June.
Meanwhile, Dialaphone claims that it will be released on Q1 2009 which could be as early as January or as late as March.
I have even read that it is expected for January in the USA which sounds too optimistic, also, we must realize that Nokia releases their devices in Europe and then, they release them in the Americas.
Finally, Negrielectronics is expecting to have this phone in stock by February 11th, 2009.
So, we could conclude that based on the rumors, this device could be released on the first quarter of 2009 (meaning January, February or March) but we are going to have to wait for the official announcement by Nokia. This phone will be available for 550EUR before taxes and subsidies or around US$700.
