Thanks to our loyal reader Shelley for pointing this out! Boy Genius Report has reported that the N97 release date will be March 31st, 2009 in the UK. Play.com is already selling it for £479.99 meaning that UK consumers only have to wait for less than two and a half months to have this device on their hands.

They also mention that the North American variant of this device will be available soon after it is released in the UK, meaning that an early-April release date can be expected. This rumor came from Nokia Product Managers, even though these are not official news.

If you remember, we mentioned on this blog that Negri Electronics was delivering it on February 11th, but one of our readers pointed out that it was not possible due to the N97 widget competition.
