Nokia has released an update to their popular Sports Tracker. The release version is V2.05. It is the same version that comes pre-installed with the Nokia N79 Active.

It now supports S60 V5 handsets such as the N97, 5800 XpressMusic etc. Pairing with Polar’s Wireless HeartLink that comes with the Nokia N79 Active is also possible through all Accelerometer Enabled S60 V3 and V5 phones.

There are many bug fixes, functional improvements and stability has been increased. The User Interface has been improved and made more touch friendly.

Now you can chose Phone and Network, Phone alone or turn maps completely off and use it like Activity Monitor. Maps can be zoomed in and out.

Google Earth support also enables the users to record the path which they followed in a .kml format. This can be opened with different applications to view the route.
