Good news for all you UK mobile phone users waiting for the Nokia N97. Vodafone yesterday announced that it will be releasing the Nokia N97 into stores in July.

But O2 report that it may be receiving the handset earlier than Vodafone ie last week of  June. But the O2 news is not confirmed and hence dont depend on it. Anyway even if O2 bring it out earlier, there is not much difference in the release date. So people who can wait for a few days if they prefer to have their phone on Vodafone can do so.

The price plan is still unavailable for both Network Carriers. Initially there was a news that the Nokia N97 wouldn’t be released on Orange and O2 because of the built-in Skype software. But it now seems that they have worked something out.

You can visit the Vodafone site and register for updates on the phone and they will notify you through email.
