Nokia N97 is being released on many countries all around the globe (I love when is Nokia or HTC releasing phones, there’s always a great events on which we desire to be present on) and is a device that will compete with many other high-end ones. The Nokia N97 was presented to the journalists yesterday, 25th June, in Portugal- Lisbon – Pestana Palace Hotel – and is now available for shipping.

On the presentation and release of Nokia N97 device Nokia Portugal focused on showing to the visitors the potential of some special stuff inside this little machine, such as the QWERTY keyboard, the N97 3.7 inches touchscreen, the total customization we can do in this phone and also the full access it has to the OVI Store.

Today, 26th June, Nokia N97 is now available to ship in Portugal, for 699 euros. You can buy your Nokia N97 in Lisbon, at the Nokia store on the Colombo shopping center. Vodafone and other brands like TMN or Optimus will have this device available very soon, but by buying trought the Nokia store you get an unlocked device.

Additionally, the Nokia N97 is the first equipment to integrate the home access OVI Store to shop online, enjoy and buy that allows many applications, games, videos, podcasts, productivity tools, Web-based services and location, and more. The OVI Store includes free and paid content, available for a wide range of suppliers and developers, such as Paramount Pictures, the Facebook, or Qik, as well as a selection of applications
