After the release of the Nokia N97 in Germany about which was posted earlier, the Nokia N97 has hit the streets of UAE and other Middle East countries. So we can expect the Nokia N97 to be available in other countries very soon too. So Nokia should also be able to achieve it’s target of 75 countries.

There was a launch event for the Nokia N97 conducted by the NSeries Team in the UAE. Since UAE and Middle Eastern countries are a major market for Mobile phones, most releases come early there.

Rami Arna of Symbian Freak forums was lucky enough to get his hands on a black Nokia N97 device at the event and he lets us know of his first impressions of the device.

He says that the size of the device is perfect even for people with small hands and that the device has excellent build quality as stated on previous reviews and previews. The slider has no wobbles or creakings.

He doesn’t like the black colour of the Nokia N97 saying that it’s more grayish than black. He expected a Piano Black version but it looks like a washed out version of it. He says that the opinions vary from user to user.

He then goes on to give us more explanations on other features and aspects of the device.
