Nokia N97 Review-GSMArena
Here is a review of the Nokia N97 brought to us by the staff at GSMArena. The review as usual of all GSMArena’s review is in-depth and interesting.
The review starts off with an introduction of the Nokia N97 saying that releases don’t get bigger than this and it is one of the most fully-loaded smarthphones till date.
They say the Nokia N97 does not put any new features but tries to fit all major features into one device. The N97 is slimmer than the N96 but hefty by modern standards. It is laso bigger than the XPERIA X1 but slimmer. The handset looks very good, it would have been better off if it had metal elements too. The screen resolution should have been bigger. The Nokia N97 uses a resistive screen instead of a capacitive one like the Apple iPhone. such a half hearted article.
If that was a summary of the gsmarena review then you missed out a lot of things that they mentioned.
I just wrote a summary of the intro. Reast is for users to read. I dont want to write the summary of the full review as it spoils the suspense.
NOKIA N97 is the best one?
I DON’T THINK SO..
im really dissapointed with this new N97. the reason is :
1. the TOUCHSCREEN is using old technology, N97 is using resistive touch screen which makes it hard to touch, not as good as iphone which use capacitive touch screen. if you have an iphone, you could feel the difference. iphone touch screen is much better.
2. the qwerty keyboard position is not convenient. the space button is located on the right side, not in the middle. its very irritating.
3. many bug on this new symbian OS.
actually i was going to buy this phone, but after i heard this news, i think iphone is better.
i hope nokia can do better for the next model.
Nokia or iphone? This is the choice i’m faced with. The N97 looks really awesome though, so thanks for the review.
