Nokia N97 vs iPhone 3GS
I recently bought an iPhone 3GS so you can already know what device I prefer but i will try to stay at the ‘middle’ but the differences will be very big.
Despite of all those things I said above and I will keep saying below, the Nokia N97 has been released on June 2009 and the iPhone 3GS has been released same time.
Still, the Nokia N97 weights 150 grams while the iPhone 3GS weights 135 grams which is quite a big difference.
The Nokia N97 has the same display size: 3.5″, but here is another plus for the Nokia product: the Nokia N97 has a resolution of 640 x 360 while the iPhone 3GS has a resolution of 320 x 480.
Also, the both phones are having the same internal memory, but the N97 can be upgrade to 48gb. The nokia N97 has a processor of 434MHz while the iPhone 3GS has a 600MHz processor. And the last thing, Nokia N97 has 128MB of RAM, while the iPhone 3GS has 256MB.

My experience has been a negative one with the N97, the internal memory limitation is frustrating. The iphone is the winner here, I never have problems running out of internal memory on the iphone where as the N97 constantly crashes with just a few apps.

s las aplicaciones tardan mucho en abrir, la duracion de la carga de la bateria es muy corta y creo que seria mas atractico silos menus fueran mas dinamicos e interactivos asi como las imagenes del escritorio que no fueran tan estaticas, ojala pudieran esforzarse un poco mas para darle mejor calidad al n97
The lack of internal memory in N97 is sometimes a problem, but there is an app for that… clening the memory automaticly. But as it’s a problem all other Nokia devices since that seems to have 256 MB. I have those both devices and normally use N97 because of it has so much better camera, FM-transmitter and great gps-performance and navigation programs included (yeah, I know, some of the early N97′s had gps-problems and needed certain parts replaced first). Iphone’s gps and camera are disappointments

But anyway – now I’ve ordered the new N8 with 12 MPix Camera with the largest censor on market and a lot smoother software. I expect it to be a very nice device.
