Ginny Mies over at PC World gives us a review of the Nokia N97.

On paper, the Nokia N97 seems to beat the phones such as the Palm Pre, Apple iPhone etc due to it’s big list of features but it falls short due to the Symbian OS it uses which is not as refined as the other OSes. But the Nokia N97 impresses in other areas such as audio and video.

Here is a review of the Nokia N97 brought to us by the staff at GSMArena. The review as usual of all GSMArena’s review is in-depth and interesting.

The review starts off with an introduction of the Nokia N97 saying that releases don’t get bigger than this and it is one of the most fully-loaded smarthphones till date.

They say the Nokia N97 does not put any new features but tries to fit all major features into one device. The N97 is slimmer than the N96 but hefty by modern standards. It is laso bigger than the XPERIA X1 but slimmer. The handset looks very good, it would have been better off if it had metal elements too. The screen resolution should have been bigger. The Nokia N97 uses a resistive screen instead of a capacitive one like the Apple iPhone. Stefan Constantinescu over at IntoMobile has posted a video review of the Nokia N97. The video is made by the folks at PhoneArena and is an HD (High-Definition) video.

He says that a person called Simon is causing jealousy all over Canada because of his Facebook comment stating that he has received the Nokia N97.
