The BEST way to calibrate a nokia n97 battery!
1.When you buy the phone…drain all the battery life until the phone shut’s down itself…and charge it for 12 hours(repeat this step 3 times!!!)
and then folow this steps…gsm..brightnes…light…mine last’s for about 4/5 days ))

hey i have nokia n97 i have follow every things from above ane also had new battery but still the charge remain not more then 4 hour is there any solution

It can be a software Problem also…So i request to Restore Your Phone to Factory Settings and then Try to Re-Install the Software again Using Nokia Software Updater.
You can Restore Your phone to factory settings by Opening Up the Dial Pad and Type *#7370#.
Try With This Procedure. If any Problem persists please tell me Know

My Nokia N97 was unable to switch it on when i charge it than when for repair not in Nokia centre than i was able to use for another 5-6 days than the same had happen.. than i took it to nokia care centre than after a month long of repair they post it back. i switch it on than use it for sometime like a new handset but doesn’t last long again. the same case has come up again.
1.Is the nokia care centre not reliable? 2. Are they neglecting their work? what should i do. someone pease suggest.

i though phone like n97 battery wud last long more than just one day. since u use wifi and txt n call it sud last more than 1 day =(
